The Art of Timeless Hands.

What Are Hand Restoration Fillers?

Hand restoration fillers, often called dermal fillers, are injectable treatments designed to restore lost volume on the back of the hands. As we age, the fat and collagen padding in the hands naturally depletes, making tendons, bones, and veins appear more prominent—one of the most visible signs of aging.

At our clinic, we personalize hand rejuvenation using a combination of PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) and Sculptra (poly-L-lactic acid) to stimulate collagen and improve skin quality over time. For immediate smoothing and volume, we can also combine these treatments with Juvéderm (a hyaluronic acid-based filler) to create a more natural, cushioned look that blends seamlessly with the hand tissue.

With the right treatment plan, results can typically last around 1–2 years, depending on your skin condition, lifestyle, and the chosen combination.

Who Is This Treatment For?

Hand fillers are designed for rejuvenation and anti-aging. This treatment is ideal if you want to:

  • Restore Lost Volume (Anti-Aging): To replenish the volume loss that makes the underlying veins and tendons appear more prominent.
  • Improve Skin Quality: Fillers can significantly improve the texture, hydration, and elasticity of thinning skin on the hands.
  • Reduce Vein & Tendon Prominence: By adding a layer of cushioning volume beneath the skin, the visibility of prominent veins and tendons is softened and diminished.
  • Achieve Aesthetic Harmony: Ensure your hands reflect the youthful appearance of your face, neck, and décolletage.

Restores Youthful Volume

Replaces lost fullness to instantly make hands look smoother and more youthful. A subtle refresh that takes years off your appearance.

Reduces the Look of Veins & Tendons

Immediate refinement with filler, long-term collagen support with Sculptra, and skin revitalization with PRP—designed to soften visible veins and tendons while enhancing texture for naturally youthful-looking hands.

Improves Skin Smoothness & Texture

Using Juvéderm Voluma, we help restore hydration and subtle volume to create a healthier-looking, more even surface on the hands. Your hands look fresher, softer, and well cared for—with a naturally smooth finish.

Quick, Non-Surgical with Minimal Downtime

Fast in-clinic treatment with results you can see quickly. An easy upgrade for one of the most age-revealing areas.

Immediate Rejuvenation:

You will see a visible plumping effect and a reduction in the shadows caused by prominent underlying structures right after the treatment.

Collagen Stimulation:

Many modern hand fillers actively work by stimulating your body's own natural collagen production, leading to progressive and long-lasting improvements in skin quality.

Age Defiance:

By restoring youthful volume and contour, the treatment visibly reverses the common signs of volume loss and aging on the hands.

What to Expect

The treatment typically takes about 30 minutes. We apply a topical numbing cream, and the filler itself usually contains lidocaine for maximum comfort.

The “Settling” Period: Minor swelling, redness, or bruising at the injection site is normal for the first few days. The true, soft, and natural final result is generally visible within 1–2 weeks once any initial swelling has fully subsided.

Natural Feel: Once settled, the filler is soft, natural, and completely undetectable to the touch. It moves flexibly and naturally as you use your hands.

Longevity: Hand fillers often provide a very durable result, typically lasting 1-2 years.

Questions? Answers.

No. The goal is a subtle restoration of the volume that has been lost due to aging. We focus on a smooth, even application to diminish the hollowed appearance and prominence of structures for a naturally rejuvenated look.

Most clients report only minor, manageable discomfort. Aside from the topical numbing cream, the use of a blunt-tipped micro-cannula technique minimizes both pain and the risk of bruising.

  • To reduce the risk of bruising, we recommend avoiding blood-thinning medications and supplements for roughly 3–7 days before your appointment. This includes Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Vitamin E, and Fish Oil. It is also advisable to avoid alcohol for 24 hours prior.

To help minimize bruising and swelling, we recommend avoiding alcohol for 24 hours before your appointment and for 24–48 hours after treatment. Alcohol can thin the blood and increase circulation, which may make bruising more likely and prolong swelling. Staying well-hydrated with water before and after your treatment can support a smoother recovery.

You can gently wash your hands with soap and water immediately, but avoid scrubbing, massaging, or excessive heat. We advise against applying heavy lotions or hand creams for the first 24 hours to keep the injection sites clean.

Avoid strenuous activity, heavy lifting, or intense exercise for 24 hours, as this can increase blood flow and potential swelling/bruising. You can resume light, normal activities immediately after the procedure.

We advise minimizing the use of alcohol-based hand sanitizers for the first 24 hours. Gentle washing with mild soap and water is preferred to avoid irritation to the tiny injection sites.
