What Are Tear Trough Fillers?

What is tear trough filler used for?
Tear trough filler is used to improve under-eye hollowness, reduce shadowing, and smooth the transition between the lower eyelid and cheek. It is best for volume loss, not every type of dark circle.
Am I a good candidate for under-eye filler?
You may be a good candidate if you have true tear trough hollowing with relatively good skin quality. Patients with significant eye bags, fluid retention, or marked skin laxity may need a different treatment plan.
Will tear trough filler help dark circles?
It can help when the “dark circle” is actually caused by shadowing from hollowing. If the darkness is mainly due to pigmentation, visible vessels, or skin quality, filler alone may not fully correct it.
Will the results look natural?
Yes—when the correct HA filler is used in the right amount and placed precisely, the goal is a soft, refreshed, natural-looking result.
Is there any downtime after treatment?
