Lip fillers are injectable dermal fillers designed to restore volume, soften fine lines around the mouth, and enhance the overall shape and definition of the lips.
In most cases, we numb the area with a lidocaine dental block to reduce pain and sensation, making the procedure more comfortable and relaxing, especially for sensitive patients.
We use Juvéderm® dermal fillers, a trusted family of Hyaluronic Acid (HA) fillers. HA is a naturally occurring substance in the body that attracts and holds moisture. Because it’s biocompatible, Juvéderm can create a soft, natural-looking result that blends smoothly with your lip tissue.

Perfect for lips that look shriveled from volume loss, this treatment restores hydration and fullness for a smoother, softer shape. Enjoy naturally fuller lips that look fresh, youthful, and beautifully balanced.
Helps soften fine lines on the lips while boosting hydration for a healthier, moisturized look. Lips appear smoother, fresher, and more youthful with Juvederm.
Reduce the appearance of a gummy smile with a subtle filler technique that supports the upper lip for a more balanced look when you smile. The result is natural, refined, and tailored to your facial proportions.
Correct migrated filler that causes a “duck lips” look by dissolving and refining the shape for a cleaner, more natural result. Get back a defined lip border and balanced volume that suits your face.
For naturally asymmetric lips, a subtle correction helps balance the shape without changing your natural character. The result looks cleaner, more proportional, and beautifully natural.
You will see a visible improvement in shape and volume immediately after the injection.
Few people have perfectly symmetrical lips. Fillers can balance uneven sides or adjust the ratio between the top and bottom lip for perfect harmony.
Aging causes lips to thin and corners to droop, creating a sad or tired appearance. Fillers restore youthful structure and can provide a subtle lift to the corners of the mouth.
Lip fillers aren’t one-size-fits-all. Candidates typically fall into three categories. This treatment may be ideal if you want to:
Restore Lost Volume (Anti-Aging): As we age, lips can become thinner and lose definition. Juvéderm can help restore a more youthful, balanced appearance and soften the look of fine lines around the mouth.
Correct Asymmetry: If one side of your lip is thinner than the other, or if your top and bottom lips feel unbalanced, filler can help refine proportions for a more harmonious smile.
Enhance Definition & Shape: For naturally thin lips or anyone wanting a subtle enhancement, filler can improve lip contour—such as the Cupid’s bow and the vermilion border (lip edge)—for a more defined look.
Boost Hydration: Even without dramatic volume, a lighter treatment can help improve the appearance of dryness, giving lips a smoother, more hydrated look.
While many associate lip fillers with volume, the benefits go far beyond size. We treat lip enhancement as a form of facial art, using filler to achieve specific aesthetic goals tailored to your face.
Immediate Gratification: You will see a visible improvement in shape and volume immediately after the injection.
The “Settling” Period: It is normal for lips to look slightly larger than the final result for the first few days due to minor swelling. The true, final result is visible after about 2 weeks, once the filler has fully integrated with the tissue and hydration levels have stabilized.
Natural Feel: Once settled, modern high-quality HA fillers feel soft and natural. They move flexibly when you speak, smile, or kiss—no lumps or stiffness.
Longevity: While individual metabolism varies, your new look typically lasts 12 months. To maintain the volume, we recommend a “top-up” appointment (usually needing less product than the initial visit) every 6–9 months.
Personalized concierge medicine, GLP-1 weight management, IV therapy, and peptide enhancement designed for your best health.
While the lips are a sensitive area, the procedure is very manageable. Aside from the topical numbing cream we apply beforehand, most modern premium fillers (Juvéderm) actually contain Lidocaine mixed into the gel. This means the area becomes number as we inject, making the process much more comfortable than people expect.
This is the most common fear clients have. “Duck lips” usually happen due to overfilling or poor injection technique where filler migrates above the lip border. Our philosophy is “less is more.” We focus on respecting your natural anatomy and balancing the ratio of your lips to avoid that protruding, unnatural look.
To reduce the risk of bruising, we recommend avoiding blood-thinning medications and supplements for roughly 3-7 days before your appointment. This includes Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Vitamin E, and Fish Oil. Also, try to avoid alcohol for 24 hours prior to your visit, as it increases blood flow and potential bleeding.
In general, you can drink immediately after treatment (once the numbness wears off), choosing beverages that are room temperature or cool. For the first 24–48 hours, it’s best to avoid using a straw, hot drinks, and alcohol, as they may increase swelling or bruising. Carbonated drinks are usually fine, but if your lips feel sore or sensitive, it’s better to wait. Always follow your doctor/clinic’s instructions if they differ.
We advise keeping your lips clean and free of products for at least 24 hours. The injection sites are tiny open wounds, and applying makeup too soon can introduce bacteria and increase the risk of infection. We will provide you with a sterile balm to keep them hydrated post-procedure.
Eating: You can eat, but wait until the numbing cream wears off so you don’t accidentally bite your lip. Avoid very hot foods or messy foods (like burgers) for the first day.
Drinking: Avoid using straws for 24 hours. The suction motion (puckering) can disturb the filler while it is settling.
Kissing: Avoid passionate kissing for 24-48 hours to prevent putting pressure on the newly shaped filler.
For safety reasons, we do not perform injectable treatments on clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding. While hyaluronic acid is natural, clinical studies have not been conducted on these groups to guarantee safety for the baby, so we prefer to wait until you have finished breastfeeding.
